Will Pave Streets At New Sharon
In a special New Sharon city council meeting the paving graveling and grading of streets were discussed with Engineer Russell of Oxkalouxa present. Resolutions of necessity and hearing notices were prepared and will be published together October 4th to save about thirty days. The council aims to complete legal work quickly so street work can proceed this fall before winter. Public support grows while opposition to paving remains possible though gravel work is expected to face little resistance. The rain has slowed preparatory grading on Main street extensions.
