Pella FFA Wins Blue Ribbon at Iowa State Fair
Pella FFA earned a blue rating at the Iowa State Fair FFA exhibits contest. Six chapters are chosen yearly to display local vocational agriculture activities. The Pella display highlighted the adult farm class, the high school day class, and the FFA chapter with $80 in prize money. Ed VanderWerff said plans include a fall trip and attendance at the farm progress show near Van Horne, plus preparations for the national convention next month.
