Limestone Delivered to Marion Farmers Back Door

Marion county farmers near the Rock Island Railway can secure limestone at a saving by delivery on the right of way or at a crossing near their farms. This eliminates up to five miles of hauling and saves about 15 dollars per car. A special train of ten to twenty cars can be arranged if enough orders exist, with each farmer supplying two men to help unload. A limestone meeting will be held next week at Garrett Ryke's home near Otley to explain the program titled Limestone Delivered at the Farmers Back Door.
