Marion County Board Meeting Resolves Oversight Changes
On August 16 1928 Marion County board held a meeting. The resignation of Mrs Myra Van N Brown county overseer of poor was accepted effective September 1 1928 and Miss Elizabeth Graham was appointed at 1500 dollars per year with four months land allowance and a January 1 1929 expiration. The board authorized transportation office space supplies and a stenographer. Members Voted Yea Reynolds Clark and Tisseling with no nays. The meeting adjourned to September 4 1928.
