Local notes and visits in Colfax and nearby towns
A long list of residents and visitors frames a community update from Colfax. Mrs. H P Scholte visits friends, others move residences for winter, and families host gatherings in Colfax, West Chester, Pella, and Des Moines. A July baby joins Mr. and Mrs. Boat east of the city. Local travel covers trips to Mt Pleasant for Wesleyan football, Purdue town game, and Portland for Mrs Cox. Several health, auto, and business notices close the item.
