Beware of a Wet Congress by W. J. Bryan

Prohibition supporters must guard the polls to prevent a wet Congress. Bryan argues the Senate is already largely dry but a single wet senator or a wet House could threaten enforcement and fuel a reform reversal. He calls for united dry voting, emphasizes upholding the enforcement law, and warns that a wet Congress could embolden a wet president and jeopardize the Volstead Act.
