Reasner and Central Play Last Baseball Game of Season
The season’s final baseball clash at the athletic field Thursday morning featured Central College and Reasner before a sizable crowd. Both sides delivered solid play with few errors, as Central edged Reasnar 3-4. The lineup included Oburehil, Plympton, Van Arkle, Te Veltrup, Van Cleave, Blatter, Closz, Mills, Kruger. Umpire Jernigin and scorekeeper Barn observed the game. A circus by Yankee Robinson followed, coming to Pella the next Wednesday, October 16, described as the season’s last show before headquarters in Des Moines. The advance agent noted a prosperous tour across Iowa towns.
