Music and student life at the academy in fall
Friday evening events show two societies active as students elect council members. The music department seeks more practice rooms due to growing numbers and a pending new music wing. Chicago Grand Opera tickets, a bass drum donation appeal, band leadership by Loyde Hillyer, and a Freshman stunt on Athletic Field are noted along with recitals and social visits at Sunnyside and First Church.
