Stoffel Huyser a lifelong Sully resident born October 6 1890 died Monday November 5 1962 at age 72 wife Grace Paltzer five children Margaret and Lester two grandchildren and two great grandchildren survive along with siblings and several relatives. He served as deacon and on Sully town council and was a member of Bethany Reformed Church and First Reformed Church Sully Funeral services were held November 8 at First Reformed Church with interment in Sully cemetery.

Mrs Cornelis Brand born Lucia Van Mastbergen in the Netherlands July 21 1876 came to America with her husband. They lived near Otley and Yella before moving to Pella and joining First Reformed church. She died November 7 1982 at De Jong Nursing Home Knoxville aged 86.

Funeral services for departed family members held in Iowa
Surviving is a nephew, Henry Brand, who came to America with them and lived with them for years. Services were conducted Saturday, November 10, at 1 30 p.m. at Van Dyk Duven Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Glen Peter man officiated. Casket bearers were Henry Brand Jr Harold Gildersleeve L W Van Ham Peter Pol Steve Grandin and John W Vander Kraats. Burial followed in Oakwood Cemetery at Pella.
