Little Dutch Victors in Tilt With Colfax

The Little Dutch eleven traveled to Colfax Friday evening and outscored the Colfax battlers 7 to 6. Pella struck first in the second quarter when Grundman’s 25 yard run set up Klootwyk’s pass to Schilder and a two yard score. Warrick answered for Colfax with a 60 yard TD run before halftime. Klootwyk drove Pella on several first downs early in the final half, but a late interception by Bart Tell halted a rally. Ray Klootwyk starred for Pella while Warrick anchored Colfax’s attack.
