Too Lazy Voters Leave Up for Grabs Board Seat
A short editorial laments low turnout in the Marion and Warren county Area XI Vocational School board election. It compares turnout to the 1964 governor vote, noting only 1,364 ballots were cast, far below gubernatorial totals, and urges that every vote counts to influence the board selection affecting nine counties. Dr. Mater won the election by polling a small share.
