PHS Instructor Wins National Science Summer Scholarship
Mr. John Greendyke, PHS advanced science instructor, has been awarded a National Science Summer Institutes scholarship for teachers in science and math. The six week course cover options include physics chemistry biology or mathematics. This is his second consecutive year receiving the award aimed at improving science teaching.

Danforth Grant To James Graham Chooses Harvard
James Graham associate professor of English at Central has received a Danforth grant for summer study to pursue his PhD at Harvard University in Cambridge. He and his wife are named Danforth Associates for Central College, a three year post with financial support for hosting students and attending a conference at Camp Miniwanca in Michigan from August 28 to September 3.
