Pella Plans for Dutch Front Era Expands Tourism

The Pella Chronicles outlines a broad plan to transform downtown into a 19th century Holland look. Projects include restoring a General Store, a working grist mill, a wooden shoe factory, canal and bridge ideas, and Dutch fronts on many businesses. A fund by Rosscreen Company will cover up to 400 dollars of architectural fees. The initiative blends Pella heritage with new tourism growth, aided by an expanding education and utilities base.
