Mrs Delmar Schultz received a War Department telegram stating her husband Pfc Delmar Schultz was wounded April 14 in Germany. A bullet entered his arm and exited the elbow area. he underwent an operation and another is planned. He is hospitalized in England with sons Terry and Roger living in Sully.

PFC Hubert Koder Captures Surprise Cave Survivor
Pfc Hubert H Koder of Pella Iowa and his 151st Infantry platoon entered a cave after heavy bombardment on the 38th Division island.
