Camp Fire Board Deliberates Summer Meetings May 1962
Nine members attended the Pella Camp Fire Board meeting on May 9 as leaders discussed continuing meetings through summer. The group reviewed plans for grade four and five poppy sales for the American Legion Auxiliary on May 25 and a Council Fire and Fair at the high school gym on May 31. Treasurer report showed $619 raised in the Fund Drive, with a rescheduled leader meeting set for May 16 at the Legion Building. A special 4th grade leaders’ Trail Seekers session was planned for 9:30 p.m. led by Miss Jenny Lee Cunningham. Mother-Daughter Tea featured the Friendly Blue Birds at the Recreation Center.
