Over $12,000 subscribed in two days as Pella merchants support hiring a fulltime Chamber of Commerce manager and expanding the office budget. The Hope College Chapel Choir of Holland Michigan will appear at Ebenezer Reformed Church on Wednesday April 7 at 8 p m The choir started on campus in 1929 and has grown to 64 voices It serves daily chapel duties and has become a national classic under director Dr Robert Cavanaugh since 1940 The concert offers sacred music and aims to foster public relations with church members Funeral services were held March 20 for Mary Elizabeth Phillips of Dearborn Michigan burial at Holy Sepulchre cemetery She is survived by her husband and several children and siblings.
