Fair Haven society records show Mrs Christina Van Aspirin of Oskaloosa visiting Mrs Gertrude Hodges Wednesday. The Melvin Bloom family visited at Andrew Van Aspiring’s son’s home on Sunday. Mrs Benis Van Zante called on Nettie Geehan Friday evening. Mrs Case Willemson visited Warner Willemson’s family for Sunday dinner. Hattie Van Zee remains a patient at the local hospital. Jay Hesselink underwent surgery last week at the local hospital. Mr and Mrs Pete Kelderman called on Mrs Gertrude Hodges Friday evening. Raymond Greenboom and family visited her mother.
Mrs Marie Mienders hosted Sunday gathering joined by Mr and Mrs George Moor at the Lansing Illinois home of Mr and Mrs Martin Klyn and Mr and Mrs Van Mersbergen. Fairhaven received a white Bible with red letter edition from Van Dyk Duven Funeral Home and The Pella National Bank. Reuben Schakel presented a podium to hold the Bible.
The Peoria Christian Reformed Church will hold a Dutch Psalm Sing on Monday March 21 at 7 30 p m. Everyone is welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served. A few special numbers will also be given.
Dr. Lawrence Mills, professor and chairman of Central College art, will address the Iowa Archaeological Society at the Sanford Museum in Cherokee on March 20. He will discuss his Mexico trip last summer and the study of primitive art.
