Norris Man Found Hanging Near Kenoyer Place
Mr. Norris of Kenoyer Place five miles southeast of Indianola was last seen about 10 30 am while headed to a woodlot to chop. By 3 pm his wife notified their son to search, and he was found hanging in a buggy shed. Neighbors alerted and County Coroner Dr C H Mitchell notified.

Farm Home Burns To Ground In East of Town
A farm home rented by Will Knox burned to the ground Monday afternoon around 2 30. Firefighters and neighbors saved the Knoxes belongings from one upstairs room while Mr Knox was away helping a friend move. Charles Johnson of Moline Illinois owns the farm and plans a new house soon. The fire origin is undetermined with rumors pointing to a defective flue or sparks from the roof.

Rose Hill Auto Crashes With Truck And Injures Two
Three people suffered serious injuries when a northbound car collided head on with a truck five miles south of New Sharon on Tuesday afternoon. R. J. Scott and his wife Mrs. Scott, along with daughter Mrs. Vogan Stringfellow, were injured. John Mowatt and Emery Sterner escaped harm. They were taken to Mercy Hospital in Oskaloosa. Mr. Scott was listed in serious condition. The crash occurred as both vehicles tried to pass a disabled Phillips Petroleum truck and a parked car on opposite sides of the highway. The Scott car was nearly demolished while the truck was damaged.
