The Saviour on the Cross in Sunday School Reflection

A sermon outline on the crucifixion of Jesus cites Luke 23, Psalm 22, and Isaiah 53 to frame the passion as foreseen prophecy. It stresses Jesus’ willing death for humanity, the thief’s promise in Luke 23, and the earth’s reaction, asserting salvation through the cross and the empty tomb. It notes Pilate’s rule, the veil’s rent, and the open path to God, urging personal faith and recognition of Christ’s sovereignty. References include Romans 8:32 and Philippians 1:23.
