City of Pella seeks bids for six paving districts 1914
Sealed bids are due March 18 1914 at 4 p m in the City Clerk’s office and will be opened by the City Council at 7 30 p m the same day. Districts 1 2 8 4 5 and 6 will be paved using Portland cement concrete pavement bitulithic asphaltic concrete vitrified brick block or sheet asphalt or other specified structures with foundations five to six inches thick and wearing surfaces ranging from one and a half to two inches. Quantities show district wise yardage for 1 through 6. Work to start after May 1 1914 and finish by October 1 1914.
