Baptist Sunday School Classes Play Ball Victory
Two Baptist Sunday school classes played a baseball game on Wednesday afternoon. The younger men’s class coached by J. H. Cochrane won 4 to 2 after a tough rally from H. J. Van den Berg’s older men. Jake Van Zante notes Joe Porter’s lame jaw may have cost the older team the game, as he was likely the cheerleader and kept the crowd's enthusiasm high.
