Valley View School Moves From Historic Site
Valley View school is now a memory as the building was moved from its near century old site. The main structure becomes a machinery shed on Mrs. Elizabeth Poortinga’s farm and the newer entrance is relocated to Hessel Van Zante’s farm to become a milk house after remodeling. No Valley View reunion is planned this year though past gatherings exceeded a hundred attendees.

A brief note advises hunters to guard dogs working in thick cover against tail injuries. The suggested fix involves cutting off a finger from an old leather glove, slipping it over the tail tip, and taping it to prevent tearing. The blurb ends with a contest prompt and address for sending entries.
