Cedar Man and Doris Ustermarkt Wed in Courtyard Ceremony
A Cedar Man and Doris Ustermarkt exchanged marriage vows on June 7 at the Christian Reformed church in Cedar. The bride wore silk organza and nylon net veil, carried white orchids and roses, and was given in marriage by her father. Bridesmaids shared aqua and white bouquets. A reception followed in the church hall with a multi-person host team. The couple plan to farm near Fremont after both completed studies at Calvin College and the State University of Iowa. Prior to the wedding, multiple bridal showers honored the bride in Cedar and Pella Christian settings with games, gifts, and light refreshments.
