The morning service will be a Communion Service and the evening sermon series will explore Our Great Needs and Ambitions based on the Lord's Prayer. The Junior choir, led by Mrs. Liggett, resumes for the summer with an anthem and a duet "Rock of Ages" by Storeman and Bauman. Mrs. Marie Rhynsburger has returned to Denver, Colorado.
The city of Pella Iowa schedules a special election for July 23 1925 to decide granting W H Fowler and assigns a twenty five year franchise to acquire construct maintain and operate a city telephone system subject to regulations. Voters will see a detailed ordinance and ballots note Yes or No choices. The measure includes service obligations pole work street use rate control and payments to the city with annual 300 fee and four free phones for city use.
Fourth Ward judges are J P De Cook Mrs D C Thomas and W A Butt. Clerks are Louis A Van Roekel and D C Thomas. Polls open 8 a m and close 7 p m on election day. Notices published in the Pella Chronicle and The Booster Press in Pella Iowa. Dated first publication June 35 1925.

Special notice announces a stereopticon lecture at Pella High School on July 2 about Indian missions. Presented by Peter Djopiah Brink son of Rev L P Brink from the Navaho Field he speaks their language and customs. Music by William Rutgers a noted soloist will accompany. A silver offering funds a new mission post at Farmington New Mexico.
A concert crowd enjoyed Jerry Stureman singing a snippet during the Band Concert Saturday night. The program then featured the Semiramis Overture as a special highlight praised by attendees. The item spurred talk of future summers with broader park funds and expanded vaudeville and circus plans.
