A Story of the Times of French Dominion in the Netherlands
Maarten Wierenga and Johan travel through Bingen and Ehren Breit Stein, see Drusus Bruche and Rhine panoramas, then return to Arnheim and celebrate Dutch liberty. The pair part at the Rhine shore with tears, promising occasional reunions in this life or heaven. Maarten continues by diligence toward Apeldoorn, passing De Woeste Hoeve Inn where Napoleon once dined, keeping vivid memories of their journey and service.
