Local notes highlight life in nearby towns and farms
Residents from St. Joseph Missouri to Oskaloosa missives describe visits, vacations in Texas, births, and church events. The Priscilla Sisters meet at Ebenezer Reformed Church with devotions and a mission study. A birth at Mercy Hospital in Oskaloosa brings Lloyd Dale to the Van Wyk family. Community members attend Bible school, weddings are planned, and local hobbies include fishing and music lessons guiding summer routines.
