Central University Holds Sixty Third Commencement
On Thursday June 8 1916 Central University held its sixty third commencement program delayed from 9 30. Rev B F Brinkman gave the invocation. Frances Sheehy performed a piano solo Polonaise Moszkowski. Dr Frank W Padelford spoke on the Baptist faith church education and the value of Christian colleges. Prof John W Beardslee Jr spoke on The Beauty of Knowing How. Diplomas and degrees were conferred with numerous awards and prizes announced including the Lewis Medal Gordon Lunt and Wilhelmina Van Nimwegen.
