Local notes highlight visits and community events in Pella
Mrs. K Verhey returns from Chattanooga and many residents visit George Heeren’s home to see his windmills and other creations. A farm women meeting in Pella spurred social visits, theatre like concerts, coaching schools in Omaha, and shopping for tires. Several neighbors travel to Des Moines Cincinnati and Atlantic City for family and church ties.
