James Clarkson Dies in Newark At 76
James Clarkson former editor of Town State Register died May 31 at his son’s home in Newark New Jersey. He was 76 and had lived in the east for about thirty years. His widow, a daughter of the late Dr J G Howell of Pella, was known here for authoring a biography of Mrs D C A Stoddard titled A Beautiful Life and its Associations.
