News reached this city that Mrs Indiana Holbrook died suddenly in Washington Kansas on Friday July 1s. She was well known in this community though full particulars were not available at press time.

It advertises a three month premium offering a 500 page disaster illustrated volume with records from Pompeii to Martinique with survivor descriptions. The CuRoMcLE suggested arc lights as a trial on the northeast square corner. Twenty such lights could light the town better and cheaper than current incandescent lamps. Citizens expect the Council to adopt the system in due course.
