City Council approves airport land deal and permits

Marion County Iowa Board of Supervisors met in two sessions in February 1966. They approved a contract with Beard Coal Company for rebuilding Coal Ridge Road and accepted sponsorship of the Economic Development Corporation. They opened road project bids, approved J B Dahm Inc and M J Fox Jr bids, and set bond and construction requirements. A general policy to govern subdivision road improvements was adopted, detailing pave and drainage conditions and road easement transfers.
