Iowa Soldier Joins 37th Artillery in Germany
In Germany VII CORPS, GERMANY Army PFC Duane N. Brouwer, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arie Brouwer of Pella Iowa, was assigned to Battery C 37th Artillery in Germany on June 11. Brouwer, an ammunitions handler, entered the Army in June 1964 after basic training at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri and prior to service worked for Pella Relay Screen Co. before enlisting.
