Richland 4 H Club meets at Vos home in December
The Richland Rustlers 4 H Club held its monthly meeting at Jacob Vos residence last Thursday evening with five fathers and two leaders present. Members named legumes in roll call and Vince Hassenbrock of Oskaloosa showed slides on fire prevention with a safe driving comedy after the meeting. John D. De Young bought the Lunt farm the prior Wednesday. Mary Vos was hospitalized in Des Moines for observation with illness undetermined, while Mrs. Bastian Vander Wilt returned from two weeks in Michigan visiting relatives. Mrs. Arthur Hoekman visited her parents in South Dakota and Mercy Hospital patient Ann Roose continued to improve with a back brace. New members Gerdena Bandstra and Nellie Vander Hart joined Queen Esther Circle, and John De Nooy acquired a new Dodge broader.
