Fremont Bank To Pay Six Thousand Dollar Dividend
In Mahaska district court Judge J G Patterson signed an order authorizing a 10 percent dividend to depositors of the closed Farmers Savings Bank at Fremont. Examiner H E Lindberg said the payout should total about 6000 dollars, with checks not ready for a week or ten days. This dividend brings total paid to 28,000 dollars or 45 percent. Future dividends are expected as assets remain substantial. Previous payouts included two tens and one fifteen percent dividend.
