Paper officials rejected by county board
A. F. Johnson and J. H. Stuben rauch met Knoxville supervisors to seek Weekblad as an official county paper. Petition denied due to high cost. Weekblad had been an official paper last year under a law tied to the Express editor. The report notes Knoxville’s busy commerce, depot moves, and local basketball Hopes with upcoming games and college team prospects. Reverend J. E. Beard preached at Eddyville Sunday.
