Humeston Farmer Takes His Life At Home
Harry Sundquist a prosperous 54 year old farmer near Humeston killed himself with a .22 rifle in an upper room yesterday around 10 am. He faced financial worries though landholdings were substantial and debts minimal. Mrs Sundquist heard the shot. sheriff and coroner ruled no inquest. The family includes three sons and three daughters with two daughters living in Des Moines and one in Humeston.

George M Fraser of Grinnell drops dead on the street in front of Ritter Hardware. A retired mail agent for the M and St. L railway, appointed by Congressman Lacey, he had just finished his service last winter and moved from Albert Lea to Grinnell. His brother Alec died similarly in Grinnell five years ago. both men were married to sisters.

Dies From Wound After Hunting Accident
Edwin Sutton aged about 29 died in Osceola hospital after an accidental shooting near Derby Sunday forenoon. Sutton, a barber, was hunting with Loren Barger when a rabbit shot by Sutton missed, and Barger's shot tore away much of Suttons right leg. Despite amputation, the shock and opiate complications proved fatal. He was married, son of Joe Sutton, and nephew of Mrs. W. F. Leech of Humeston.
