The Joe Paltzers bought the former Dr Myron Bos residence at 701 Main St and will remodel upstairs into an apartment. Neighbors hosted a farewell party for Marvin De Goey as they move to a farm near Pleasantville.

Farm Bureau club hosts afternoon meeting notes
Mrs John Eysink led the U and I Farm Bureau gathering with songs and readings. Guests included Mesdames Eysink, Monsma, De Penning, Renaud, Kinseman, Engelhoven, and Terpstra among others as barbecued refreshments followed. The Guild of the First Reformed Church met with 57 members, studied prayers, sang hymns, and planned the Rutland Trinity conference in April. Ruth Circle met at the Christian Reformed basement with 19 members for Bible study and fellowship.
