Baptisms were held at the Chr Ref church for Alicia Dawn Laverman and Henry Lee Vos with Rev. Robert Palma officiating. A banquet for 106 guests followed at the Community building. The Christian School Circle hosted a Dutch Banquet at the school with a Yankee-Dutch program. Numerous visits and moves swept the area, including families moving to farms near Pella and relatives visiting in Des Moines and Chicago during Founders Week at Moody Bible Institute.

Local stockholders meet. several re-elected to board
The annual stockholders meeting at the Community building re elected Case Vonk L L Van Rees and Andrew Gertsma to the board. A P Vander Beek presided and Mrs Claris Van Genderen gave the financial report. Coffee was served after. Funeral services for Lester Dieleman were held in Newton with an Adel and Petaluma linked family. Attendees at the Newton luncheon included Mina Willocks and several local residents.
