Monroe Festival Concert Day Inspires Local Musicians
Students from Pella and nearby towns travelled to Monroe on February 4 for the annual festival. The day included travel departures by 12 30 p m, practice in the gym and a church, and a 7 15 p m concert in the Monroe gymnasium. Some students changed costumes at home while others visited recreation halls and Newton for bowling. The event wrapped with widespread approval for the long afternoon of school and music.
