The storm disrupted class attendance as Central College plans Tulip Time with Prof Sadler leading the chamber plan and an International Relations Club forming with Howard McKee as temporary chair. In 1934 E Van Ginkel settled with the Rock Valley Bank Receiver for a little over a thousand dollars. This week he repaid the balance of 687.38 with a check, stating a good year in 1936 prompted the full payment. Receiver Thomas calls it an unprecedented event in the history of receiverships.
