Twice daily washing is best for separator

Karl Wester of Town State College says washing separators twice daily is crucial in all seasons. Regular washing lengthens separator life and reduces sediment in cream. Overnight milk solids can cook on with morning warm water, causing deposits to break away and throw the bowl out of balance if not cleaned the night before.
