The Pella High boys basketball program relies on devoted managers led by head manager Gary Kingma, a senior with strong ties to Coach Dave Bender. Bruce Roorda, also a senior, and junior Tony Schippers form the core trio, handling duties that often go unseen by players and fans.
Bruce, Tony and Gary discuss how the team can stay in shape and disciplined over the holiday break while maintaining unity and improving cohesion. They note the challenge of limited outdoor access due to cold weather and the need for personal responsibility to keep sharp.
