US to Sell High Quality Bread Wheat From Stock
The U S Department of Agriculture will offer to sell high quality bread wheat from its stocks at market price but not below 108 percent of current support prices plus carrying charges. Coverage includes Hard Red Spring wheat 15 percent protein and above and Hard Red Winter wheat 13 percent and above. The 1965 crop is somewhat lower in protein content, causing higher market premiums and potential higher flour and bread prices.
