The Iowa Development Commission announces a new Directory of Iowa Manufacturers a buyers and sellers guide with 3036 plants in 566 cities. The map shows four industrial halves by county lines 54 northern counties 2155 plants 45 southern counties 1781 plants. The directory groups firms by industry products and alphabetical index with a year of work by Bernard F Nowack. It lists firms with 50 or more employees and is available at the Commission offices in Des Moines.
