Marion County Girl Tries to Wreck Jail in Iowa
Winifred Bath alias Dorothy Belmont 23 of Hamilton Marion county was jailed for vagrancy at the Chicago Great Western depot by Officer Breckel. She pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace in municipal court and drew thirty days in the jail she attempted to wreck. A charge of defacing a building and vagrancy remain to be arraigned as part of the case. The Fortnightly Literary Club, about 25 Pella ladies, hosts social and educational programs biweekly.
