State record flathead catfish tops 1964 list

A 44 pound flathead catfish topped the 1964 Big Fish Records List kept by the State Conservation Commission. Taken by William Marsh of Farmington in the Des Moines River, the fish measured 44 inches and is the largest of the year and second all time for flathead catfish.
