Picnic Register Names From Lincoln Park August Picnic
A letter recounts the Lincoln Park August 6th picnic in California with Marion County names registered, including Roy Vander Linden, Ruth Grant Vander Zyl, Arie Van Cleave, Henry R. Rhynsburger, and local friends of the Pella area. It notes registration gaps and mentions community talk of a Des Moines river project and local gossip about residents like Joe Kupperman and Carl He. The writer hopes for further notes and suggests county-based registries for future gatherings.
