Trees Onions And Peonies In Marion County Garden Column
Lawn mowers can injure shade trees by striking trunks, risking bark damage and tree death. Create a grass barrier around trunks or plant annuals beneath trees to protect roots. If trunks are damaged, trim and apply tree wound dressing to slow decay. Store onions in dark, dry, cool conditions for long life. Plant peonies in early September with dormancy roots from local nurseries.
