Navy seeks 200 stenographers and typists in Des Moines
Miss Mary Kelly, Navy Department representative, announced in Des Moines that 200 civilian positions for typists and stenographers are available in Washington DC assigned Navy research, aeronautics, ships, and Marine Corps areas. Open to men and women with pay starting at the Civil Service scale, typing 40 wpm for typists and 80 wpm dictation for stenographers, with 26 paid vacation days and 16 paid sick days.
