It notes Tate Ten Hagen’s offer from Ringling Bros. for snare drummer and the hot last Friday of the year. It reports on storms, lightning hitting a hay barn, rains aiding crops, a death in Liberty township, local visitors, and a Roman Hippodrome circus revival with a long parade opening the days.
